It’s been another big year for humanity, and the world continues to change. But a lot of things stay the same: men’s health is still in crisis. Men are still dying too young. It doesn’t have to be like this. Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – the Movember Foundation is tackling them face on….literally.
For 30 hairy days and nights, men all across the world will be putting their face forward for men’s health.
Around the globe, men die on average six years younger than women and for largely preventable reasons. By 2030, it is Movember’s ambition to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.
Did you know;
Schlam has decided to get in on the action and participate in this year’s mo growing challenge. A hairy few from Schlam HQ are growing a mo (or supporting a bro) to raise much needed funds and awareness for a cause that is close to home. Afterall, the very people affected by this cause make up the majority of our workforce.
With the money we raise, we can support Movember in funding ground-breaking research and health projects, changing the lives of men all over the world.
If you’d like to contribute to Schlamo’s donations tally – please give all you can to help our team reach it’s fundraising goal https://au.movember.com/team/schlamos
