We hope that you enjoyed the festive season and the all-important time spent with family and friends. As we start the new year, we take this opportunity to reflect on 2022, and what we expect for 2023.

Looking back, 2022 was a great year for Schlam, capped off with being awarded the prestigious Western Australian Employer of the Year, at the RISE Business Awards. We’re proud of this recognition, reflecting the continued focus on our people, their development, and their well-being.

We assisted many employees throughout the year, by building their skills and even providing trade upgrade opportunities. The word is out that Schlam is a great place to work, as we significantly grew the size of our team.

In 2022, we continued to work closely with our mining clients to deliver payload solutions focused on improving productivity, and we’re closing in on our biggest year yet for dump tray builds.

With growing demand for our payload equipment, we introduced modern 'smarts' to improve our manufacturing efficiencies. We also continued to support our clients in driving valuable community messages with custom branded dump trays.

Whilst it’s been a year that we are incredibly proud of, our Aim Higher philosophy already has us looking at the year ahead, and both the opportunities and challenges that await us over the months to come.

Our People Solutions team have already hit the ground running on some innovative initiatives to help attract and maintain the best talent in the industry - all of which are set to unfold in the early part of 2023. The team are amplifying their efforts to build on it's solid culture and will continue to create a place where people love to come to work. Their goal this year is to continue to live and breathe their philosophy which has earnt them the title of Employer of the Year.

In addition, our mechanical and fabrication teams have been deployed to work on some exciting major projects for our clients. Right across the Pilbara and beyond, Schlam is gaining more momentum. With clients impressed with their ability to deliver exceptional results, we foresee a very busy 2023.

TPCM's service schedule is already filling up. As they continue grow both their fleet and the crew, TPCM is well on its way to a record year!

Our Payload Solutions team will continue living our company principle of 'Stronger Together' - by continuing to work closely with clients to further drive their site-specific payload potentials. With mining profitability being squeezed by many factors, our team will continue to lead with payload equipment and service solutions that deliver on productivity and safety.

We will also continue to drive our manufacturing efficiencies and further incorporate world-class production methodologies – enabling us to deliver more equipment, that is built on the quality and performance synonymous with our brand.

We are excited to see what the year will bring and expect that 2023 will be our biggest year yet. Thank you for your continued support. Above all, thank you for being a part of our wonderful journey!
